I bought 3 of these beds to furnish my new house, based on the positive reviews. At first the bed was a little too firm but not a problem. I just put a topper on it to compensate. After about 3 months I noticed the bed was much softer so I took the topper off. It seemed pretty good for another several months. Recently I noticed a big soft area that developed right where I was sleeping. The whole bed sort of caves in. I wake up in pain in the middle of the night. The other 2 beds are guest beds and they are seldomly used so I’ll keep those do it not a total loss. The one in my room has become a sponge brick that will make its way to the dump in sadly less then 12 months. 220 pounds, mainly side sleeper. Don’t waste your time and money on these. I suppose if you are half of my weight then you perhaps might get several more years, but inevitably it will begin to sag…

Has this bed about 6 months now. It’s not the bed I thought I was getting. Edges start getting weak over time. But still comfy. Sinks down with heavier people. I’m 265 and it sinks down pretty good when I lay next to my daughter. She’s higher up than me.

This is our first Nectar mattress and we’re very happy with it. Up front, before all the details – This bed is very comfortable. My wife has some hip issues due to arthritis and she said this is the most comfortable, and supportive, bed she’s ever slept on. For me, the top memory foam took a little getting used to, since I’ve never slept on memory foam before, but after a few nights, I admit it is super comfortable. We are both ‘warm’ sleepers so appreciate the cooling/heat wicking aspects of the mattress. We got the Nectar Premier Hybrid which includes coils … and still it came in a box! The Premier Hybrid includes the following : – Single-action cooling with antimicrobial Euro Top – 1” Therapeutic memory foam for pressure relief – 2” ActiveLift layer for spinal alignment – 1” Transition layer to minimize motion transfer – 8” Infinity innerspring coils with extra edge support – 1” ActiveSupport base layer for stability – 1” Made with CertiPUR-US Certified foams That’s a lot of mattress in a box, so the box is heavy. It took two of us to move it around. The mattress itself comes double wrapped in plastic. The first layer keeps it folded and compacted. The second keeps it compressed. You first remove the outer layer of plastic and the mattress unfold and opens up to it’s actual size. Then move that, still in the next plastic layer, onto your bed. Then, remove that final layer of plastic and the bed will begin to inflate back to its normal size. Ours inflated very quickly. Be super careful cutting away the plastic as you don’t want to harm your new mattress. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Now some details … This is one of those trendy “bed in a box” mattresses except this one has the absolute best warranty. Nectar promises a 365day In Home Trial ! One year !!! Nectar also promises at “Forever Warranty” to the original owner – for FOREVER. That covers deterioration causing the mattress to have a visible indentation greater than one and one half inches (1.5”) that is not associated with an indentation or sag which results from use of an improper or unsupportive foundation or bed base. Any physical flaw in the Mattress that causes the foam material to evidence degradation, split or crack, despite normal usage and proper handling. Any manufacturing defect in the assembly of the Mattress cover. ( You can/should read the details on the warrantee over at the Nectar website). This is, without a doubt, the best warranty in the mattress industry. I reached out to Nectar Customer Service as there was no registration card and this mattress actually came from nectaroutlet.com and was told “If it’s purchased through nectaroutlet.com, no need to register the warranty. If you wanted to claim warranty, just reach out to us so we can file a claim from the nectaroutlet.com Nectar specialist. They will help you on your concern with the mattress. Purchasing the mattress in nectaroutlet.com will still get you the 365 days trial and Forever Warranty.” Further discussion – “Our mattresses come with a Forever-Year warranty that does not require any product registration for the warranty to apply. However, if you need to return or exchange the mattress within the first 100 days of purchase, you will have to reach out to nectaroutlet.com for assistance. After 100 days, if you have any warranty-related issues with the mattress, you can contact us but will be required to provide the order details from your nectaroutlet.com account for us to assist with any warranty claims.” In order to be sure I always have the order information, I just saved a copy of the invoice from nectaroutlet.com as a pdf and filed it. Thoroughly enjoying this mattress! I’ve owned a few popular bed-in-a-box mattresses (Purple, Tuft & Needle, etc) and this one by far has surpassed those and doesn’t even feel like it arrived in a box. Perfectly firm but soft enough to contour to my body. I sleep in allll of the positions..it’s just me and a king sized bed so of course I’m sprawled…still have the support I need. I’m a full time student, work nights full time and workout 4-5 days a week so it’s CRUCIAL for me to get the sleep I need when I need it and have a bed that’s of high quality and comfort. People raise their eyebrows when I tell them the price, but I’d spend it again knowing what I’m going to get!

If you like INSANELY soft mattresses then this is the one for you! Also, good luck dealing with returns if you ever have one with these mattresses. nectaroutlet.com did make things right with me after a horrible experience. So kudos to them. But this mattress has nearly 0 firmness lol
