The mattress is AMAZING! I was sleeping on a temperpudic and waking up with horrible back pain every single night!!! I set up the mattress very easily and by myself! I suggest putting it on top of your bed to let it do its thing but mine pretty much took its shape right away. It still needed to fill out a bit on the corners so I did let it sit for 24 hours but it filled out perfectly! Also the cooling on the premium is amazing! Very cooling and cozy all at the same time! I ordered a bed cover for the mattress because I obviously don’t want to stain it but….it is preventing me from feeling the coziness of the nectar cooling so I may just take it off and return it and just be extra careful. Also for reference, I ordered the king size in premium. In the pictures you can see the top corners did not completely fill when first opened, i would say it took about 48 hours for those to completely fill out but it did end up filling out and it’s perfect on all corners now. I know this review is all over the place but in case this helps, I do have two herniated discs in my lower back and this mattress has helped me immensely. I was waking up in horrible pain and it’s been almost 3 weeks now sleeping on this mattress and I am pain free in the morning and most of the day and not waking up so stiff all over my body either! I also added the nectaroutlet.com pick up service and that was great as well. They took the old mattress at the time of delivering this one, they were really fast and it is much cheaper than paying another company to come do it for you and also very convenient! Oh and one last thing, I did not notice any smell when I opened the mattress at all!
This mattress is just okay. For the price I feel like it should be much better. My biggest gripe with this is that the edges are not reinforced and sturdy. The entire edge is floppy and soft and when you get in and out of bed it’s like you’re rolling downhill. This also makes sitting on the edge of the bed nearly impossible because it’s so soft. I’ve never experienced this with a bed before. I replaced my 5 year old California king with this nectar mattress and I’m pretty shocked at how disappointed I am. You can see from the pictures I have included with my review that the seam for the cover falls to the side of the mattress by about 2 inches. The entire mattress is covered with a zippered cloth cover. The top is soft memory foam. I don’t feel any could in the bottom part. I would not reorder this mattress again. I’m sleeping fine on it. It regulates my body temperature too. But the soft sides are a deal breaker for me.
This mattress arrived at my door rolled into a box. It was difficult to believe it would open up into a cal king size mattress, but it did. The mattress inside was tightly wrapped in plastic. The box weighed about 100 pounds, so it took two people to move it. This mattress is replacing a worn out Tempur-pedic. We are using the old frame and foundation. The foundation is a flat, sturdy base that supports the mattress. We put the still-rolled-up new mattress on the foundation and began to remove the wrapping. It expanded so fast that I was unable to get a photo of it for this review. I was too busy turning the mattress to make sure it was expanding in the right direction and in the center of the bed. The instructions say the mattress will fully expand in 24 to 72 hours. We opened it early in the morning, and by that night it was firm enough to sleep on. The mattress is incredibly supportive and comfortable. I find it a little firmer than the Tempur. My husband thinks it is a little less firm. We are both sleeping well on it. It is very stable and conforms well to my body. It has minimal motion transfer. There is one thing I don't like, and find especially annoying. The edge of the mattress is not firm. It has no edge support. It is like a marshmallow. I cannot sit on the edge of the bed. If I try, it collapses and I slide off. My last mattress was a Tempur memory foam and it did not have this problem, so I am not sure if this is a defect, or a feature. And one last negative. If you already have a mattress, you will need to dispose of it yourself, whereas with a standard delivery, they take away the old mattress. So that will add to the final cost. In my case, a little over 100 dollars to call the junk people.

Slept on this after 5 hours of assembly as per instructions, and let it puff up. this bed is great for couples as well, both of us have a lot of heat but this bed is perfect going with the hybrid is one of the best decisions weve made
This bed was delivered 3 days ago and this is an image of it being open and inflating on Day 2. I just returned another mattress that I ordered from Nectar for the same issue, except it was the 12” Mattress. I have my space heater on in my room and have not laid on it or anything. I’m not sure why this is happening and it’s a bit frustrating. If it only expanded evenly then I wouldn’t have a problem but I can’t sleep on a bed with this much of a height difference right down the middle!!! I’m on day 3 waiting now for it to inflate properly but I don’t know what to do if it doesn’t fully expand.
We decided on the spur of the moment to finally upgrade our mattress during this past prime day sale and ended up getting a great deal on the King sized Nectar Mattress. It was half off, I’ve heard great things about these beds in the past and after carefully doing some research just to make sure it would fit our needs, decided why the heck not and purchased the bed. It came within three days and after setting up a new bed frame for it we unboxed it-which I would do with help as the box is heavy and the sealed plastic covering the bed is a little harder to get off alone, although I’m sure someone could do it by themselves but would be much easier with help. Some reviews said the bed takes days to fully inflate but ours inflated fully within moments, almost instantly. The picture attached to my review is taken not even twenty minutes after we unboxed the bed. It is firm but also has the memory foam feel that has your body sinking in slightly and conforming to your body as you lay down. I’m a shorter, bigger woman about 260 lbs and it’s just the right amount of soft and firm for me. I add that because some people have suggested that the hybrid model mattress is a better fit for larger people as the medium firm model may be too firm and uncomfortable for larger bodies. I’m so ridiculously comfortable and relaxed in this bed and have slept better than I have in quite a while so that’s not the case for me at least. My fiancé is about 190 and taller and he’s equally comfortable and satisfied with the bed. This is simply the best mattress we’ve had in ages, only to be rivaled with our old Tempur-Pedic we had years ago which was the best sleep I ever got on any mattress in my twenty some years of life. This bed is up there on that level though and more affordable so I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase. If your debating whether to buy this bed or not I wouldn’t wait, amazing sleep and comfort are just an order away!

I dont want to put too many photos on this right now, as I want to get a box spring to go with it and it doesn't look as good as I'd like for photos here for review The main thing I'd say to keep in mind with a mattress like this, is that if you get something like this, you need one of two things: 1. Box Spring (I haven't tested this out yet to see how everything will feel, but it's to give you stability) 2. A full frame like you see in the image that has a full base. What I mean by full base is that the base is entirely all one solid piece. Not like a usual frame with gaps. No, this would be one that you set a bed on entirely The reason I say this is, I have a frame, but it's one of the usual ones, and you will sink into those gaps in a usual frame. This bed isn't meant to work with those So I'd say if your willing to dish out the big bucks for this get one of those nice frames, would be my recommendation A box spring that's got solid metal bars and can hold a lot of weight is another good option if you want to go that way Now, how sleeping on the bed is: Honestly, after sleeping on a bed that had past it's expiration for a little bit now, I was extremely happy to lay down on this. My back no doubt has been messed up from my last bed, but last night, sleeping on this new bed, I could feel all of my back no doubt fixing This majorly helps. I slept so well and rested that I didn't need more than a few hours before my body was like, "you've dreamed for what usually feels like hours on end, you can wake up now" Good sleep. The kind of sleep you only get from a relaxed feel like that Honestly the feeling I get laying on that bed is like melting into it. I just give in to the bed, and lay now in proper posture, and let the bed do its work You do not want to get up It is a bed that is entirely worth its price point Nectar, I havent got a bed from you before, but I'll be sure to buy from you from now on if I can
Highly recommend to stay away from this manufacturer. The bed doesn't expand fully even after a full week. nectaroutlet.com sent out a replacement but the replacement was defective as well. I ended getting a full refund BUT was stuck with having to pay for two mattress disposable fees.

This is a good quality very firm mattress. I tried it at a store before buying from nectaroutlet.com and I suggest anyone considering buying this mattress do the same. I can understand this mattress won’t be to everyone’s liking. I can’t give it 5 stars because of the price. $599 is really too much for a big piece of foam. However, I paid it because if the lifetime warranty holds up then it’s a great value if I never have to buy another mattress. Scan the QR code on the box and you’ll get specific instructions on how to open the packaging. I highly suggest following the instructions. The mattress expands quickly to 10 inches thick. It’s supposed to be 12 inches but a little over 24 hours after opening it is at 11 inches thick. I read it can take 72 hours to fully expand.

I got mine last night, what came was an enormous box that’s super heavy, upon opening it is rolled into a big tube. The wife and I slid it directly onto a frame to let it grow into our dream mattress. Takes a good 4 hours before it’s sleep ready, takes about 3-4 days for it to fully air out (this is still only less than 24 hours since we got it) note that they do NOT include sheets or pillows so I’d get those before you get you mattress. The mattress itself is perfectly firm with a soft form fit from the cool foam. Hands down the best sleep I’ve had in my entire life. The cool thing is, it only gets better as the mattress continues to grow to its full potential. We choose to get the Cali King size because I am a taller guy, and don’t be scared of the size, it’s only slightly wider and long enough for a 6’2 individual if your coming from a queen. I have less back pain, and feel more rested today after the first night.
